Ramona was only 18 years old in the season 2010/11 when she achieved a sixth place in the Alpine Ski World Cup giant slalom in Marburg / Slovenia and thus the very likeable all-round talent from Austria/Styria showed very big on. By the way, in this race she could beat amongst others, also the current overall World Cup winner Tina Maze.
Then, unfortunately several small injuries stopped her absolute breakthrough before she could realize a really great season last year 2012/13 at the European Cup with awesome results as: Overall winner at the European Cup, overall winner at giant slalom, 2nd place overall at Super Combined, 3rd Place overall in Super G.
And therefore she could qualify for the world cup team in the Olympic season 2013/14.
Furthermore, Ramona is one of the very few racers who feels very comfortable in all disciplines as Slalom, giant Slalom, Super G and Downhill and would like to go on the start even in the world cup, at all of them.
The reason for these very stressful efforts, Ramona’s big goal is, to win the overall world cup title in the foreseeable future.
